New boats for 2008?

My Pugh is 17 inches and I fall into the larger guy category. I complained about the narrow cockpit until I raced with it. Then, I loved being a little wedged-in, as I felt secure. Also, with a ramp on the floor you gain some "wiggle" room. I might take another 1/2" of width, but I believe that 2 inches more would result in my "tired old" body getting beaten around too much.

The boat looks great!! Cannot wait to see it in a few days.

The extra width would give some space for some thin light weight foam padding. So you could get the width just right for you with some comfort.

The padding could be very light.

Just a thought.
