The pics shown are before the top edge has been trimmed. With the in mold, "fake" windshield, the measurment above the steering wheel is one inch more narrow than the Mostes. With a true lexan shield, one can stand the lexan more vertical, achieving the same measurement as the Mostes.
It appears that the nose slopes back a lot farther, more like an american boat, than a euro boat. This would also move the driver back, which would change the entire boat with lift points, center of gravity, etc. Just my opinion, but i liked it better with the euro nose. What width is the cockpit?

The top front edge of windshield is roughfly 28" from pickle tip on Euro boat. Rev 250 with lexan shield is 20", gelcoat fake windshield is 23" to pickle tip. Optical illusion?????????? Inside width is 16.5" Will be available with 19" for the larger guys. Bill Diamonds will be the first widebody Rev250. Might be building Lee a widebody after the worlds as well.

My Pugh is 17 inches and I fall into the larger guy category. I complained about the narrow cockpit until I raced with it. Then, I loved being a little wedged-in, as I felt secure. Also, with a ramp on the floor you gain some "wiggle" room. I might take another 1/2" of width, but I believe that 2 inches more would result in my "tired old" body getting beaten around too much.
The boat looks great!! Cannot wait to see it in a few days.
This style runabout reminds me of Robbie Cotton`s design that was very competitive back in the day in Region 2. Anyone remember his boats?
Rob Cotton was a tough driver. He might not be comfortable with this ride as the throttle is mounted inside and the cockpit sides are 19" high. Cotton almost seamed to balance with the cockpit around his ankles.
