I just drew it out on my hydro, seems I have to remove quite a bit of tip & air dam. There will be a hole to fill too so I guess Ill have to make end caps or foam it in.
From what I gather on this I should block sand the narrow [side] part of the tip till 3/4 flat, compass out the 2" dia & trim it back. I'll have to reshape the air dams a bit too but meant to do that anyway. Question is does the 3/4 need to be dead flat or will some creative rounding over be acceptable?
My interpretation would be that the 3/4" area would have to be flat. Any creative rounding could only be done on areas thicker than, or outside of the 3/4" area.
I'll check with the other members of the Stock Outboard "Boat Technical Committee" and get back to you ASAP.
FYI - I am the chairman of that committee.

Stock Outboard is all about a level playing field.

This is the part im not getting.. There should be no Interpretation.. How bout some specifications... If your not in the "click" or good old boy club your stuff will probably not be interpreted in your favor..
A wise old General that I worked for told me one time that "order, counterorder, leads to disorder". Couldn't help but pass that along. Having said that, I think the right thing is now being done. Thanks for all the effort and attention. Jack
