Looking for a head count for Trout Creek Race. Fathers Day Weekend June 18-20th!

BBQ for racers and families on Saturday night, live music and dancing.

Posters are out and about all over the county!

We really want to put on a good show, it is anticipated that there will be a lot of spectators for this race!

Job kids! Posters look great but: let the jerk in me say what others are afraid to, are flats even coming? Poster doesnt mention them and hydroplanes they are not. Probably works for me cause I hear there wont be many!!! You know, I would be there if my boat were done! I know how much hard work this event requires.

Rumors, rumors, abound about who is even thinking about going! I know everyone is cuting back but this event should NOT be in any cut! Fiive O has responded and I know Doc is in so that's two! Jeff is a maybe.

Lets list the afirmative racers heading a short 2 hour drive to what could be the best event of the year! Heck Banks is 2 hours if you stop once for a Burger! How can I help?
I have vacation time for the whole week. My camper-roadmaster is still loaded.

Hope that Dave Weber and crew will be here, as will Jeff Humphries, Mike Todd, and Doc Holiday. Was hoping to see some of those Montana guys you were talking about JERK, have you heard from them? Would love to see Tom Geiger as well but know that Pacific is a ways to come from! Would love to see Rich Beal, but will the boat be back together in time?

Really it is only about 2 1/4 hours from Spokane! Look how many races we drive to that exceed that! Oh yeah that would be all of them except Newport/Oldtown.

So everyone needs to come and play in our backyard! We have talked everyone up so much I hope we aren't in for the big let down.

Best way to help is motivate folks to show up. I think with all that is planned that if you miss it it will be a big mistake. And if we get a low turnout we may not be asked back.

And put your order in for nice weather cause it has not been very nice so far. Doesn't sound very good for Elk River either.

Where's Doc?

I hear he's in and Jeff makes 2 racers in 468. E39 and Five O for the SKs. Anyone else planning on running? The Lavey pictured is of course not able to fill both classes like last year by running both heats. Anyone know what other boats are ready? 3 boats that were at Banks are not coming, so I hear. It's ralley time!

We are planning on driving up this weekend to check it out, rain or shine! Where should we buy lunch? I've been working on folks who havent raced for a while and enjoy our 10th anniversary cake I'm thinking of buying. What Costco cake you like?
