  • C mod class

Just curious as to how many of you will be running in the C Mod class this year. I have watched the mod classes for 2 years now and I have the bug. The pipes are cool and it is a mod class that is reliable.

I figure I will have to run with the DSH guys in our area till I can get enought folks interested. Even with the pipes and tower it is cheaper than a D stock motor and is a lot lighter for us old folks.

Also as Daren says " Chicks dig PIPES"

I should have my pipe system next week. The tower in 6 weeks more or less.

Is the mystery boat going to have red? How can you drive two boats at once??

Are u running a tietze pipe and header? Has anyone run that setup? And compared it to the cast header(dmod)style?

I am fairly sure that is what Mercguy uses. I bet he can tell you how the Tietze system works but not sure he has ever used the strait pipe system

When all costs are included, I bet the cost of a Cmod is actually just a little below a D stock. But a Cmod can never match the brute power of a D stock.

                        I won't argue the weight of a D stock motor, they're heavy!
As far as chicks digging pipes? I was never able to attract any chicks with my Dmod when I was single... Or maybe my ears were ringing too much to hear them coming on to me.

I used to dig loud cars and loud boats. Now I like 'em both nice and quiet. Maybe I'm getting old.

All in good humor. Race on!

                            Mike,

I am seriously considering this cmod setup. I have a older furnel flyer I am refurbushing. It's a modified csh boat. I am waiting for our 1Litre inboard to sell. Hope we can get a class together for SLORA. Sorry I can't be more help sooner, like this season! Anyone interested in a inboard??

                            Brian

Will be waiting Brian. Sell that inboard!

Looks like right now in the whole US there are maybe 3 C Mod's. Thats not good.
