The rooster tail was hitting the pipe and was cooling it down so the tuned length needed to be shortened, a lot!!! I bet you all knew that........

Don't cut the pipe, put a spray shield under the pipe to keep it dry from the rooster tail instead. Oh and by the way, a good c-mod on a hydro runs around 8800 rpm. I doubt you will see that many rpm with your boat, but I could be wrong

I believe in NBRA/OBRA we always have at least 4-5 to make a legal race,
sometimes CSH will run to make the class.
