    Don't cut the pipe, put a spray shield under the pipe to keep it dry from the rooster tail instead. Oh and by the way, a good c-mod on a hydro runs around 8800 rpm. I doubt you will see that many rpm with your boat, but I could be wrong

          sometimes CSH will run to make the class.
