My next projects. Should keep me out of trouble till our first race in mid May.
All of this happened to the same owner at our last race last season. This is two different boats and the one with the hole in the sponson was caused by a giant Carp.Mike - One of the Montana Boys

In Eastern Washington at Moses Lake they have a lot of carp and they are monsters. They will come up to the surface and stick there heads above the water and just look around. They are weird to watch. We had to ask what they were the first time and were given the whole story by a park ranger. Might as well hit a log

Carp
I hit one while testing my ASR there in 1979 before the race. It bent the prop so that the blades were no longer 180 degrees apart.
