So now that you are not so wet behind the ears, how well do you like repairs VS. building new ?
Gives a guy new respect to stay upright in my opinion ! hehehehehe. Nice job on the repairs by the way.
Dave, new is a lot easier and more fun. But I must admit that I was suprised that I could figure out a way to fix it. I stared at the mess for a couple of hours just trying to formulate a plan.
But new or damaged you never make a dime so it must be for the love of the sport. Keep the shinny side up! LOL
If they went to beach starts then probably. But if they went to beach starts then I would probably quit. That would eliminate on of the best part of racing, timing a great clock start.
Excellent work guys. Nic and Ben built this from my MJR Boat Plans package. The Euro style boats are not exactly easy to build and they made it look easy, so congrats on your awesome work guys.
So, maybe Marc has now started releasing the plans???
Sattler Racing R-15 350cc Pro Alcohol Hydro TEAM VRP The Original "Lunatic Fringe"
I have sold several sets of Euro 0250-0350 plans now, even some to Germany..... They are a combination plans set that includes the carbon fiber end caps that I make, the bottom pads, the center wedge, the nose piece and the rear cowling. I sale all of this as a package for $1500 plus shipping.
I will be updating my website soon with this addition to the plans offerings.
Also, if you want one built, I have made Nic and Ben Thompson official MJR dealers for any MJR wood boats that are ordered. I will be making all composites boats from the factory going forward, so anyone wanting any class of MJR wood boats built, they will be built out of the Florida facility from Nic and Ben's shop.
Well i have just got back from Aus and my boat it still on its side and bare wood , hoping to have it epoxyed and the bottom slicked this wk end and graphic wrapped by Lawernce in 3 wks .
But havent tested my new motor or props or any of the mods to the air traps and bottom .
But we get three minutes before the start so that will have to do lol
