Alcohol in the pits information!

Just got off the phone with the Parks Director:
Here is the latest!
We have no permit for Friday night as was first thought, however it was
suggested to me that if we are VERY discreet and pay attention to visitors
coming into the pits at night and use good judgement we should have no
problem.
Saturday night's social we have a permit for 5pm to 10pm as there has to
be off duty officers present during the time alcohol is served/consumed.
Same info goes for after 10pm, as long as we are cool and pay attention,
and we aren't visited by a officer with an ajenda we should be fine.

I wanted to post this to start passing the word to as many as possible,
John, and I will be working the pits to tell everyone who does not see this
post.

That is "adgenda". I don't approve of your "drink anyway" policy. If the cops say no drinking, then there's no drinking. I mean christ man, have you lost all respect for authority? Saturday night we stop drinking at ten, and that is it, no questions asked. I mean, do any of us really need to be up later than ten drinking anyway, what kind of sport do you think this is?

Gary "US' Pond has informed me there is a BP Amoco station near the pit entrance that looks to be a high volume dealer. It is called Boyette BP Service Station. Perhaps you should take a swing through and if you deem appropriate desiginate it as the gas of the weekend to set the meter to!!

Just a thought to avoid certain grief over the course of the weekend.
