John, Ryan, and I had a productive final meeting with the city yesterday,
getting permission for alcohol in the pits between 5pm and 12am on Friday
and Saturday nights. This is a no-alcohol park so we are thankfull the committee agreed to our request.
We are in the planning stages of a catered pig picking Saturday night in the
pits for our Divisionals winners social, at approx. $5.00 a plate. We have a new addition to our local promotions team in the person of Gloria Poytress, she is a local business owner and food vendor, and she is excited about the race and helping to build on this years event and help it continue in the future.
We also have permission to camp RV'S and a small area for tents in the pits.
RV campers please check with Dennis or John upon arrival for where to park your motor homes. Tent campers please do the same, thanks.
I spoke to the Hotel manager and she has told me reservations are keeping her busy, no exact numbers, just that she is pleased with the turnout, and that means lots of racers.
Looks like things are progressing nicely, should be the place to race in Region 4.

Reason: more info!
I have made my reservations....Ellison's will be there with a 125H and 2 KPH's and hopefully a ride in an OSY 400!! if you get enough commited. I talked up the race a lot this past weekend in Inverness and it sounds like you are going to have to have a great turnout.
