Yeah, Greg. '82 was my 6th year of racing.
Had a great weekend there. Won all 3 days of JSH and would have swept all 3 days of JSR but got DQ'd for bearing away on 3rd day of JSR. Won a sweet water color painting of hydros for winning Hydro hi points for the weekend...which I still have. I believe were painted by Walt Gladkowski. Troy...sound right?
RC Hawie won the runabout hi-point.
Bogus call. The finish line was the exit pin of turn 2. I was in 1st...letting it slide out to the finish. Who tosses a kid in JSR for bearing away????
As I recall, the ref was Phil Charland. But who's keeping track?
