I love this stuff, what a great idea to help us get through the winter doldrums.

That first photo is me in my JSR at Lock Haven. 1982.

Back in those days the J's raced a smaller course...not going under the bridge.

          Dean- Same motor?

Dana- we might be toying with that idea again(turn before the bridge). Personally, I think it would work out great for building up more spectators.

Yeah, Greg. '82 was my 6th year of racing.

Had a great weekend there. Won all 3 days of JSH and would have swept all 3 days of JSR but got DQ'd for bearing away on 3rd day of JSR. Won a sweet water color painting of hydros for winning Hydro hi points for the weekend...which I still have. I believe were painted by Walt Gladkowski. Troy...sound right?

RC Hawie won the runabout hi-point.

Bogus call. The finish line was the exit pin of turn 2. I was in 1st...letting it slide out to the finish. Who tosses a kid in JSR for bearing away????

As I recall, the ref was Phil Charland. But who's keeping track?

                  Runabouts

These were taken from an archieve I put together about 6 years ago for an MHRA racer reunion at one of our banquets. Quality isn't so great, but the names and boats are. More to come!

Here are some pics of a Morphew Race team from the 50's TOP O Pics. A reproduction of this boat will be at TOP O this year with vintage power. It is now painted vintage style with hand painted numbers. LOOKS SWEET!!!

Sorry I can't recall any names

                          Some familiar names?

Matt, you might like these. These were on our first MHRA website about 10 years ago and the reason why they have the captions. 12M in ASR too!
