1993 Pateros, Washington. We used to have an "Ugly Hawaiian Shirt" contest at the races. Good times.

The top photo is obviously the Stan & Steve Fitts' trailer at Stratton, Maine. The middle photo has Matty Dias (8-B ASH) and Bobby Humphrey (both deceased). The 9-B boat of Steve Fitts, a DU, I believe is that boat in the bottom photo.... Interestingly- the red and black 55-B boat is the CU that I built for my brother in 1976. Later, this CU was rebuilt into my laydown PRO250ccR kilo boat. In 1987, at Moorehaven, FL., I went 84.866 MPH in this 11'-8" CU! It seemed like a good idea at the time!

Cool thread. Jimi, my family didn't get involved with SOA until 1997 so help me with some of these people. I recognize Craig Fjarlie in the background, yourself, Jeff & Kristina Kelly, Pat Gleason & maybe Laurie in the background. How about the rest?

                                Just curious
