    Tom L explained it perfectly. IF testing is allowed then the J classes get seperate time, if no testing is done it is not mandated there be any. I would hope that race committees would give any kid a chance unless it is a week in week out deal then that would make me think there are other issues like setup, strength of motor etc...

      On a diff. issue:
      I thought once that I had read in the rule book. A rule concerning the age of people in the hot pits? I have looked and looked in the 2008 book and can not find one. is there one?

        No there is not, However,Their parents must sign an insurance waiver.
