Back in the mid 70's Joe M stacked 2 350cc Yamato piston port motors on top of each other. Saw the complete package at Kaukana Kilo's. The main issue with the motor was the coupling between the two powerheads. Joe couldn't keep it together. Bruce Summers was the rope man at the Kilo's. I took a lot of pull to crank it thru. Fired 4 cylinders at a time. If I remember correctly, Joe went out testing once with the coupling in tact. The coupling came apart, and no one realized it. Bruce must have roped that thing 50 times before someone realized that the prop wasn't turning.

Well, since we are all ready off course with the thread...here is a pic of the Michelini 350X2. Brings back double the nightmares. Squirt squirt squirt, rope rope rope, whoop whoop whoop, launch, over the hump, dead in the water! Start all over

You would be much better off with one of Marc Johnson's designs with a 49ci 3 cylinder OMC .... but FEH is not a beginner's class. You could build a D hydro and move up to FE later.
Sam if you get a chance come on down , Alex is where it's at don't worry some will be overweight, but competative, bring the film crew.
