    Updated photos

Here are some updated photos of the new ramp that the city of Jacksboro has put in for us and photos of the pit area. As you can see there is plenty of flat wide open area for everyone.

Also an update on the hotel situation. Joe John and myself have negotiated a reduced rate at the La Quinta Inn in the nearby town of Bridgeport, TX. Bridgeport is about 30 minutes away from the race site. There is a hotel not far from the lake, (about a mile) this hotel does not provide breakfast and is quite old. The La Quinta is brand new and offers all of the amenities. Please call to reserve your room asap as they were unable to block off rooms for us and this is a first come first served basis. The price of the rooms are $70.00 + tax per night for either a single king or double queen. Just mention "NBRA" at the time of reservation to receive the reduced rate. Hotel info:

Jeff, yes you can throw up a tent in the pits.

Camping is allowed but you must be self contained. There are about four hook ups for electricity on the back side of the park for RV's and these are first come first served. If you plan to bring an RV and want one of these hookups let me know and I'll start a list...

            Ramp is great!

Tested all day today with the Schulte Motorsport team and the new ramp is great! Easy to roll up and out of the water and really nice to launch from.

The only thing needed now, is YOU!

Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

No, I helped Joe John dial in his rig and Matt did the driving.
I'm still laid up with my back and no $$$$ to get my rig completed yet.
                Shooting for next year though!

Yes, a single event membership is $45.00 as per the 2012 NBRA rulebook and we would love to see ya here in Texas! Like to see that rig too. Looks nice in the pics you posted.

                        What's up Doc? Race Team

Braxton will represent the What's up Doc? race team. He will run A,C stock, Cmod, 25mod and C mod Runabout. The C runabout is a Sorenson with a 102 yamato. We just broke in the motor, which had new piston and rings. We hope to test it before bring it to Texas. Rick has to go to Ky. to try and win the 25mod hydro high point. Novice driver, Layton Owen will fill in and help Braxton run all those classes. Looking forward to our last two races, Quincy and Jacksboro.

I will be there for A and C stock hydro and even might step up in C and 25 mod hydro. I would even be open to put my 102 on someone runabout for me to run, more is better. I will bring my boat racing signs if y'all like.Ray 6-T

                            Ray,
That would be great, please coordinate the placement of the signs with either myself or Dennis Burke. The city has very specific locations for signage and Dennis and I are the contact points with the city. Thanks for your help,
