That's the cool thing about CSH on the east coast. We almost always have eliminations, and any one of most of those entries is capable of winning on any given weekend.

In 125H we have about 7 that are pretty equal...in that case it is whomever makes it out of the first turn first.....something about smooth water makes you go faster

Kristi, it doesn't matter if you are going up and down or left and right - a boat that is bouncing around more is traveling a longer route on the same course

Look at the 2 lines in my graphic ... they both start about the same place and end about the same place, but the top line is shorter because it is straight.

A boat in the front driving on smooth water has the top line, a boat in the back is in rougher water, running the bottom line ... if both are running the same speed, the boat running the top line gets to the next bouy sooner because it has taken a shorter quicker route without bouncing up and down.

I find it interesting that a guy that hasn't driven in a race yet has all the answers. The driver is important but don't short change the performance of the boat. You can not make up for that. After you have participated some, repost your thoughts.

I have to agree with Jack on that one....I am not driving any differnet this year then last year but I have a brand new boat and motor and It has made a tremendous difference....I can start in the middle or the back and still catch people throughout the race....could not do that in the old boat...just ask my son he is driving the old boat now and I catch him everytime

I have an old boat, and an older motor. I can win or lose on any given weekend. Of course, being younger than Kristi, and a guy, my reflexes are naturally better..........

Why has this discussion got way off the topic??Im just saying the driver has a lot to do with winning a race some people may not agree but I have participated in a lot of sports and its usually the person that wins..Now all im asking for is for people too keep there eye out for a csh and a 103...I keep getting told you can't go wrong with that and thats what I wanted to begin with and thats what I still want.
