New Boats--Let's see em

Wart's new straightaway boat

The old boat holds 9 records: APBA - 20SSH, CSH, OSY400, BMH, CMH, 125ccH. UIM - OSY400, 125ccH, 175ccH
After 4 types of motors on, the transom chopped up numerous times & trying to find room for a 3 gal. alky fuel tank in the boat, it is time for a new boat. Not many changes will be made (if it an't broke, why fix it)
Will post more pictures as work progresses. Needs to be ready for the Oroville kilos in March.

Looks like you haven't been to kilo in awhile. A pickle fork hydro has much more drag the a round nose. This is the first hydro design of mine that has been faster than my runabouts through the traps at a kilo.

Keylard Fix and Refinish

Well! I got the DSH Keylard fixed and repainted after the smuck at the nats. I will be starting on a Scott/Craft FEH next week. Here is the Keylard in it;s new burgundy attire.

Kilo boat

Darrell..You may be suprised at this...but I have never been to a kilo event. How do you keep the thing from blowing over? Looks like a lot of lift built in. I am pretty impressed. Dave
