I wanna ride Thursday too !

1) I must have been so excited I didn't fully read Mikey's 1st post about the ride dates .. and I have been planning on riding Thurs, Fri, and Sat. all this time. (Mr.4 states we're only riding fri and sat.) simply not enough. Is anyone going to be up for some riding on Thursday too ?

2) I may also have an extra trailer spot (enclosed) for one sled (yellow preferred) available if someone needs, provided they are somewhere near my travel route up (I94 to 131 through SW Mich/Grand Rapids and on up).

3) Fearless Leader (aka SO VP), gimme a call.

4) May also have some "floor space" available at the Lodge .. cheap !

I need an update on the plans. As I understand it, it looks like the Stongs/Brimley group (east siders) are meeting up with the West siders in Grand Marais. Is this correct? Where are we riding in general? Is anyone riding back to the East side? Is everyone staying in Grand Marais? I'm asking cause I need to know what days i should book a room.... or at least what days i'll have to seduce a local for a warm place to sleep.

Right now, Sr. and I will probably come up late Thursday night and stay at the cabin in Brimley. We'll just meet up with everyone on Friday morning... wherever that might be.

IF anyone does end up on the east side and is in no mood to ride back, all are welcome to crash at the cabin in Brimley. Just a couple miles from the casino...

I think our plan is to be up Thursday some time to doo some "testing". Dad and I have some off season changes to dial in. The last we talked we were going to leave thursday am and ride in the afternoon/evening to shake things down for the finals on Fri & Sat.

Call me and I can try to explain. It's complicated and still flexible.
I have a room for 2 nites for Trolian and I. We could split it more ways.

Here is Mikeys plan of attack. Coming to cabin in Strongs on Thursday afternoon/night. Will meet up with gang in Paridise Friday afternoon say at the Brewrey for lunch. So all us Eastern UP boys meet at Mikeys cabin Friday AM. We usually ride to Newberry from Paridise and hit the fish fry. Then back to Grand Maries friday night. The guys staying at he Hotel in Grand Maries will meet us in Paridise Friday after noon. Saturday we usually ride towards Munising. We stop in at the Buc Stop and then head back towards Seney and end up Back in Grand Maries to watch the BUD Shoot out at the Steakhouse/Brewry in Town. I have a room for Friday and Saturday at North Shore. If we decide we could ride back to Strongs on Saturday and cancell our rooms for Saturday so we can leave on Sunday from Stongs/Brimley . We could then sleep in on Sunday and get home at a reasonable time. If we stay at North Shore Saturday we pack up Sunday and ride back to Strongs/Brimley and then head home. Either way works for me. This way we save hotel money for anyone who is short on money. To drive back to Strongs takes just as much time as it does to ride. Let me know if anyone needs a place to stay on Thursday. I have plenty of room and it would be fun if everyone was over Thursday for a pre ride party. Josh you and your gang are welcome as well as Kevin and his gang. Don't heat up the joint if you don't have to just go and ride over to the cabin or if your sleds are with you just come straight there. Let me know what works best for everyone i am very flexible when I am drunk. See Ya Mikey /Team Arctic

I just want thank the dudes that were there and making my 1st snowmobile trip one for the record books. Now I know why you guys do this!

Even tho I screwed up a few times, it was a great learning experience.

Thanks for the memories, we'll be ready for the next one!!!!

Actually dad, I spent the weekend in both Chicago and in Appleton. So my weekend wasn't all that terribly boring. By the way, on the way home on highway 164, there was a yellow and purple sled for sale-$2200!
