I agree...and getting to watch the live telecast on Comcast here in Spokane was a nice bonus. I had been hoping to make it down this year but things didn't work out.

A big "Well Done" to all the local coverage and making it available worldwide on the web. Can't wait for next weekend...though I think the wife will forcing some work around the house to get done...hope to keep Sunday open!!! LOL

OK, but the heat before he flipped, he gets back to the dock, and is being interviewed by radio. About halfway through the interview, the guy asks Mike "what's that you're holding?" Mike says: "It's the steering wheel - it broke heading into the first turn. I just grabbed the spokes and kept driving".

Oh, and go to my Webshots site - I got some long distance shots of the Elam blowover. It figures that Darth would come back and win.

I've been watching unlimiteds for 40 years, and this was one of the best races I've seen. I'll have more pics up this morning.

btw - Mike Weber retired this weekend, so the U-5 Formula Boats driver seat is available. Send your resumes in now. Weber is the team manager and is from Atlanta, the owners are from Indiana - maybe we can get an outboarder outside of the Northwest into one of these things.
