Villwock (sp) just blew over (about 450 degrees), landing on the tail, ending up right side up. Pretty windy conditions. He's standing on the deck while they tow him in. Tail & canard damage. It was the first lap of heat 1A, and he was in the lead, being chased by JW Meyers. .

This is the first year for the "all day" coverage. Last year they just had a summary show which basically showed the winning boats crossing the finish line. Live coverage is really nice for me cause I'm literally only a mile away, but I just couldn't make it down. I can hear em, and it's on in the shop!!
The Seatle race is on all day coverage next week. I believe it's on KIRO 7?

Just spoke with Jeff Kelly (J.Michaels dad) and he said mike is doing ok. his elbow is brused pretty good and he's a bit banged up but all in all ok.
Jeff also said that after the first turn pinch and hit Steve David mentioned that the sponson on Michales boat didnt look so good going down the back stretch and that might have had something to do with michael going over.
