First race

Looks like I'll have my D-classic motor ready for my first race. Looking forward to it.

The only thing I don't have is a jacket and cut suit. If I could borrow someone's for the D-classic races, I'd really appreciate it. I'm 5' 10", 160 lbs.

dg22 Dave... just a heads up... "if" EP is there... there will be many people looking for gear to borrow. Secure yours early... haha.

If anyone has extra stuff, please bring it to meetings/swaps/races and I'm sure you will sell it if reasonably priced.

What are the requirements for safety equipment for a CBF race? I'm assuming helmet and race jacket. Are full kevlars mandatory or optional?

Yup, Full kevlars are manditory. Same as APBA.

Since you took a stab at the 25SSH numbers Dave, I'll tell you Rick Fralick will not be racing 25SSH this year. He's not ready to jump back in a boat yet.

The club meeting went well last night! They hired a band!

Also US entries get a discounted rate for entry fee and can pay in equivalent US$. Sorry didn't catch the finalized price, but it will be outlined on your circular.

I'll be busy enough. I'm sure Graham would be interested if Dad attends the race (50-50 chance)... my trailer only holds two boats. Would need to get the boat/trailer there.
