Need a source for 5mm shear pins.

I been getting shear pins from Rex Hall for years for my PRO equipment because they don't break unless I abuse them!

Art, you need to call Dirty Ernie LaRoe and see if you could get some of those good McDonald Douglas rivets. Just remembering the good ole days!

We make ours from this hardened stainless rod and have had great luck with it. McMaster Carr 3821T101. It is $23 for a 3' length.....

Take a look here. There are rivets, shears, bolts. Great place. Run on Tohatsu, strong.

How about McMaster-Carr's 1080 Spring Steel Wire? We use PN 8907K18 - comes in 1 foot lengths. Yes, it is only 3/16" diameter, but it works well with my 5mm props and prop shafts in D Mod. It is 261,000 psi tensile strength!
