Dan's new boat/motor are now in Atlanta...

My part of the trip is done... DesMoines, Iowa to St.Louis to Atlanta.

The boat is hangin' high and dry at work for whomever is the next leg in this relay!

Dan's Boat

Well the boat and motor (no Prop) arrived at my house at 5pm today. I'll get on the phone and try to locate the prop, at least it's small enough to UPS. Thanks to Buddy Tennell for trying to help, he was going to transport it across Atlanta last Sat. Tom Brockmeyer had taken the boat to work with him, storage problem and it was in the wrong place. Thur Tom took time off work and drove the boat the 60 miles across Atlanta to Jeb Boskey's house (another JS Skiff guy) and Dave Yeager picked it up this weekend and brought it to Savannah. I'll fix the wind screen Mon night and get the boat to George Koehler's and he will carry it to FL this Fri. You should be all set Dan! Have you got that airline ticket?

Thanks Bob and to everyone else who helped along the way, what a trip this has been and its not over yet! Dont worry about the prop all though it was on the motor so I would like to know what happen to it anyway yes I booked my flight a few weeks back and leave for Florida this coming Friday at 11:55am

What happened to the prop?

The prop was not on the motor when I gave it to Tom. It was wrapped up in a white towel. It was a 3 blade DeWald.

I think George left for Lake Placid today so the trip has been completed St. Paul Minn. to Lake Placid Florida done! My flight leaves in the morning

Hey Mark I'm in Lake Placid now I got into town late so no testing today. George ran my boat and he says it ran great ! Turn out is a bit light as of 6pm when I pulled into the pits. 5 ASH so far
