Where in the US is Dan's new boat good one Bill, I can picture Tom and Mark on the side of the interstate in the middle of the winter swaping my boat from one truck to another. This has been a good nightly soap. Tune in tomorrow to see where Dan's boat is

We've even got more help, that I haven't mentioned yet. One of the Vintage Skiffheads Dave Yeager who builds Jersy Speed Skiffs here in Savannah will be at Harbor sales in the morning in Maryland or somewhere close picking up plywood. He's been in PA for Christmas so I called him yesterday and asked him to get a sheet of lexan too, but they only had clear Dan, so hope that is ok.

Nah, we got the motor!

Mark and I arrived at the rendevous point within 15 seconds of one another! Perfect timing, and we had the boat moved over and loaded in under a minute. Everything went so smoothly and I had just one strap left to tighten so I told Mark to go ahead and leave... And "poof" he was gone.

About a minute later, I realized we forgot the motor and pulled out my phone to call Mark and it rang in my hand. Mark called me first. I gave myself a "Bozo Slap" on the forehead and took off to the next exit (2miles) to meet him again. We got the motor and prop (BRAND SPANKIN' NEW LOOKING, by the way!) in my truck and off he went to Oklahoma.

The boat and motor are enjoying a nice nap in my brother-in-law's machine shed in rural Iowa until we leave Monday or Tuesday to head back to Atlanta.
