The water was excellent all day Thursday. Racing ended around 4:15pm for the day.
The battle in 25MH really was between Miller & Miskerik with Miller winning both heats with great speed. Interesting note on 25MH....Joel Wiegel went over hard coming down to the finish. Apparently, something in the lower unit broke and then it twisted the tower housing in half! The unit/prop are on the bottom of Justus Lake. The dove for it last night but no luck yet. Also, just after Wiegel went over, Karl Stoll flipped right at the line. Both drivers were fine.
Hauenstein won FAR both heats in a very small field.
I didn't see FER or CMR but I heard Powell & Harrell were really moving.
I'm a little worried about the weather today though. I'm about an hour from Franklin and it's been raining all morning.

Other classes that ran on Thursday
BMH elims ran Thursday. After a 13 year absence from the sport, Bob Saxvik made the final.
DMH elims also ran on Thursday. I believe the final for DMH is Friday.
FEH final will run on Saturday.

No problem Brent. From what I've been told, only Sprint cell phones can get reception out of there. Tried to get an update from my bro but he's busy announcing & running all over the place.
Weather has improved a lot the past 2 hours and they are racing.
Update for JH entries to be run Saturday: J. Luce, B. Tate, A. Gresly, G. Gresly, Jonathan Brewster, Justin Brewster, M. Werner, B. Pruett, T. Rice, V. D'Agostino. 10 boats! Great warmup for the J's before Dayton.

Heard that Brian Palmquist won the first heat going away and the second heat Mason took him out in the corner. Big crash, boats wrecked, tempers & helmets flying... Can someone verify this?????
Trizenski won after the mishap."Ask anyone, I have no friends. I do have some people that put up with me and mostly because they like the rest of my family"

I can't speak about the mishap, but I'm sure Larry won on his own merits. he most certainally is a top contender. Congratulations on a well deserved win. HIS FIRST I'm somewhat sick to hear of the Palmquist /Mason incident. I hope no one is hurt. Nationals Are such a high strung affair. glad I missed this part
