Heck, I just go to the junk yards to find them, just like I do my engines !!
SO............is that where you get Conway Twitty 8 tracks???? Now, if that is where you get your engines also, give me the address, so I can get on the road..........
Dave you just need to be a little more computer literate. I'm transfering my old vinyl & CD's to MP3 player. Only about 200 CD's, but about 1,800 slices of vinyl. Get an adapter to play your MP3's on FM reciever while on the road

In my world MP3 is a 3 mile per hour gain on that new prop !!
I like radio anyways, never the same band for two hours at a time.
Darren, Conway Twitty rocks !! Ever been to Twitty City in TN ? Great place to visit !
ACDC rocks, Back in Black. I like different kinds of music.
How much money will it take to set this up for region 5?
Paul
Paul, E-mail Matt and he will help you. There is no use continuing this thread with 8 track vs mp-3 players and Conway Twitty etc.
Give Paul and Matt a break here guys.

Sorry guys, did not mean to hijack the thread, my apologies. Best of luck getting whatever it is you want set up.
Does Region 5 still have a web site? The link at R11 is borken aswell here. To set it up it requires a website that supports Microsoft Frontpage extensions. Some day I would like to change that, but currently that is what is required. Currently R11 is hosting SOA's online reg tool and we might be able to do the same deal for R5.
If you guys want to host it on your site you can have the all my code and I'll help you set it up. Your well come you try and change anything and improve it, just give me credit for my part. It the world of computers this is called "open source".

I have used Matt's system prior to the Copperopolis '03 Stock Nats and I can say that it worked great. While 2 of my other friends from Ohio were filling out their entry blanks, I breezed right past them and finished registering in no time. Matt is definitely on the right track with this and I'd like to incorporate this into our system at TRORA.
I know it would take some $$, but how cool would it be if APBA used scan cards instead of imprint cards? That way, all of our info could be on there & we could just scan it at a race. Those cards could be updated electronically so we could keep the same card each year. No imprinting or re-writing everything onto carbon-copied summary sheets for the scorer. Seems like the registration process would go much quicker if this is financially possible.
