        ----Ahhhhhhhhh the "NEED FOR SPEED"!!!!

Hey Walt--Nice poster!!! tried to click on it to enlarge and download to have a closer look. No luck. Can you send it? ---What's the story in that pic?

Not sure on Dayton yet. Only thing I have close to STOCK is a restricted 302 on the Artralite for 20SSH that I have never ran. May try it at Franklin if time.

Had some good results with the 22 OMC closed up/stock in BSH at May Franklin, but they won't want that out there at the nationals.

          Nice Steve !!

Steve, if you make your numbers readable, and your ports not chamfered I am sure you can make it to Dayton.......

See y'all in Franklin, the place to RACE !!! In fact the only race that should be on the schedule for the weekend.....

            25XS ruling needed

I need somebody who knows the APBA rulebook 2005 "amended version" to clue me in on the rules about Stock Merc 25XS running in 25 Mod at the Nationals. We've run it a couple of times in 25 Mod at regular races but I think that we are not even allowed to take it out of the motorbox at a Nationals....is that right? I can't remember if it is a "prototype" or a "probationary" engine this year ? We have a 22ci Merc motor but would like to run both boats if possible. Thanks, Mike Marshall, raceboat61-S

Is there a schedule yet? Will it be open testing or will that be scheduled as well?

                  Ryan,

Yes there is a race schedule and yes, testing will be scheduled. Copies of both schedules will be available at registration Wednesday morning.

                  See you there,

                  Jeff

                    Mike,

The 25 XS Mercury in stock configuration is a legal BMR (Runabout) motor. The 25 XS Mercury in stock configuration has prototype status on a hydro for BMH, 25MH, CMH. A prototype motor may not be raced at a championship event. I hope this answers your question.

                    See you in Franklin,

                        Matt,

The plan is to have J "get on plane testing" before the JH and JR NAC's.

                        See you in Franklin,
