Yes, and one Yamato with a stuck piston...... too much bouncing out of the water.

Our new Anarchy boat took it's first CSH Heat win (2nd overall) and it's first spill (roll over in 20ssh). Boat and driver (Will Smoot) came out unscathed! Love the carbon strength! FYI boat came out at 105lbs with hardware. I added 10lbs to meet weight. Perfect .

Our boats for CSH or 20ssh are approx 80-95lbs with hardware. All carbon fiber.

Makes a guy like me at 200lbs (215 with gear) very happy to run CSH
Where do you put (440 -95-215- 85 engine-?) = 45 lbs lead, not a small amount.

Under the floor board is one option, or spread it around the cockpit. Trying to secure it is the difficult part. Our boats come with no access to under decks like most wood boats with the "lightening holes." So knowing ahead of time who the boat is for we could certainly make arraignments on figuring out lead securing.

BTW Yamato engine is approx closer to 100lbs. between 98-100. My boat came out at 105 with hardware + 215 for driver (with gear)+ 100 engine= 420 total.

Thanks! Just going out to have fun!

                • Ok I have got to ask what is the benefit of having the engine sideways.. I realize that the exhaust has a strait exit from the motor but I also see a lot more wind resistance around the block

                  • I have been working on this so it can run my 20ssh and/or my Merc 20H. It still needs some work but should be ready soon.

                      • I would like to thank Mike for posting the new 500 Hydro capsule plug and the wooden portion of the new boat. Going to do all the testing with wood, easier to modify if needed, then pull the mold and come back with composite boat. Also here is the mold for the new 250/350 boat bottom. Deck mold should be done by nest week-end. Thanks for a great site

Thanks Mike, now if it will only perform as well as the mold looks.
