I don't believe that was storm damage. Scott Reed was roaming the pits drunk that night. Might have been him, he's violent you know.

Mine canopy was a casualty of the heavy rain. Collapsed the frame due to weight on the fabric.

She went down fighting...now a casualty of the Great Flood of '13.

I saw others that met the same fate.

Had my canopy do that in my yard during a heavy rain. Some just don't shed water
        very well.

Agreed! I think we all have some races that need our attention within the next few weeks. Let's focus on that!

            Canopies

Of course as soon as I posted question it occured to me that some canopies..like my cheap azz one, do not shed water all that great. I also tend to agree with Darren...time to move on to other subjects.

I was looking at our canopies the other day and they have a lot of pin holes near the seams.. Great for sun but not so great for rain

                Scott ?

I thaught it was the storm that smashed our EZ up . Now I know the truth.

What I will remember is that, after that dark cloud that brought the heavy rains, the silver lining in that cloud emerged and it was the good will of the boat racing community.

                              East vs West

I think it's funny that West Coast racers say "blown off" when weather cancels an event. I always thought it was "blown out".

                              Cheers
