        Looking good Tom!!

Some of the lines look familiar to me, but I am not sure why????

What will become of the boat that this is replacing?

            Matt
The shop is clean because my wife doesn't like the dust coming in the house. We use the garage entrance most of time to enter the house. As
far as the shingles, they are for replacing the ones the hurricanes blow
off.the boat is for my son in law Chris,it is a new design thanks to some
            outside help.

Connie, The boat looks great. Tell your husband I will buy him a new pair of those fancy black heels he was admiring at Raleigh if he keeps the boat light.

                          • Tim,
Terry says he was planning on putting about 200 pds of pure lead in it....Not to worry, I will sneak out with a hole saw a drill a whole bunch of extra holes in the boat to make it lighter. Of course, Mike inspects, inspects, inspects so I doubt if any of us can pull anything over on him. It is really looking good, that is for sure. Connie

I've Heard that you can't get one built for the D mod class??? Is this true? Or will they build one for anybody? They really run good, about the best I've ever seen!

Conceivably you could get one built for any class. The problem is, Farming, the real job comes first. Iowa winters are brutal and the down time is all we have for building.
Also, if you have seen the boats up close, you will realize that they are truely works of art. Mike and Kenny are MASTERS of their art and engineering geniuses. Mike is also a perfectionist. Terry might be the only one who can work with him and still keep smiling, but then again, Terry is about deaf from all those mod engines, so I am pretty sure he doesn't hear any of the cussing he gets from Mike.
Add all the above up and you get boats that take a while to build with only a few months to build them in. That usually amounts to about 3 boats a year unless you are on the long waiting list. Many won't wait.
Brian ran a CSR (BR in AOF) Krier runabout that now Pete Voss has to run in Florida and New York, and Dick Falbe has a mod 4 cyl runabout, from Missouri, as does Burt Hoefs also of Missouri.
You will generally see a Krier (or clone) out front, that is for sure.
                                Connie
