This is my new Fralick BSH I just finished will test and run it at Sharptown 4th of July weekend. I finished this one in the colors my Dad used to run on all his boats. Now to repair Ron Selewach's Hemp boat and start a new light weight AXSH Fralick.
Looking at older posts about smooth epoxy, and here's my 1 1/2 cents. West System seal coat with 205 or 206 hardener, light sand, and a second coat w/ 207 hardener in a flat position. A few extra position set-ups, but the finish is great, and sanding, if necessary, is easy.
See the jdsextreme website, under products / new hulls for pictures of his new 350 hydro. This is the finish w/ 207, and no clear yet.
The boat runs really good. I like laying down so far. The ride is real smooth and it handles the rough water beautifully! I need a little more speed, but that should come with testing and propeller work. I just got back from the stock nationals last night, the competition was stiff. I didn't qualify, but again, the boat ran really good.

now that is an understatement Joe!!!!!! I need more than a "little" more speed.......... I Gotta have (2) new hydros built before next season!!!!!!!!!!! Or replace the driver.....
Here's a shot of it just before it left Brayhaven in Florida on it's way to Louisiana and one after it arrived in Louisiana.
Thanks to to Matt for building it, to Brian Hendrick for hauling it from Canada to Florida, and to Greg Sefton for babysitting it until I could get over to pick it up. The boat looks great (a lot better than pictures can show).
