          look out for Smokin' Joe

This boat has features that could only be for one person.

Looks like Smokin' Joe is gonna be even faster in OSY400 with a lighter boat. He wouldn't be considering a Y-80 on it too???

Look out Region 6 and 7!

            Smokin Joe

Right on, I thought the same thing!!

Smokin Joe Pater has gone ALTRALIGHT!!

Now the question is who will run it, Joe or the new factory driver....whats his name, KL.....

            Later,

The cowl on the OSY boat reminds me of Jeff Brewster's boat from the 80's called "The Rhino" I always loved the looks of that boat, very cool.

                Uncle Joe's "Boatbarn"

Now I know why Joe wanted to make room in the stable.

                  Matt,

What will the approximate weight of the new OSY-400 boat and the CMR boat weigh? Just curious.

                  To all,
Also, what is the average weight of a new competitive wooden CSH boat, unrigged and rigged? I'd like to know so when I am done with my new boat I can weigh it and compare. Thanks.

my o'connor 20ssh/csh hydro weighs 133lbs with hardware, while my new boat that i made for 20ssh is just under 110lbs without hardware.
the o'connor is very competitive still, just doesn't have the acceleration i'd like, and the sister boat to it was top 5 in region 2 when raced this year.

I still maintain that's Joe Johnson (C139) playing the part of Uncle Rico in that movie.....

                            Dean,

When the "Rhino" was new in the early to mid eighties, it was very different and very cool. So, was Joey Z's "Soap Box" ASH when it was new, very different and very cool. One last design, Forshier's 60J runabout, the oldest sons boat, that looked like the boats DeFebo builds now was very different and I thought was very cool. Besides, I like designs that are different and unique. Just my opinion.

                              that my favorite movie

Napolian: Do you take the bus to school?
Pedro: No, I ride my bike, it's a sledge hammer.
Napolian: Ever take it off any sweet jumps?

The osy boat will be light!
I hope to get the CMR up to 100lbs.
