Miller family, how about setting the course a little longer for this race? The first two races were only .5 and .68 respectively. Way too short. Ends up being a turning contest. The regular course use to be 1 mile and the short course 3/4 mile. Sure would like to see a real boat race! Jack

                Course size

In my opinion a real course is between .5 to .75 of a mile, makes for some real driving, not just a speed contest.

I could be talked into setting up a little longer course on Saturday and a shorter course on Sunday (obviously so we can get home earlier).. I guess would be fun to have two different courses. Will adjust the bouys after races on Saturday or early Sunday morning.... What does everyone think?????? Will be great testing for Centralia on Friday and the longer course...

If we can't run at least .75 to .86 or better each day I guess I'll have to be happy with at least 1day.

Make it 1 1/3 mile course. Then we can all watch a single file parade. Maybe invite some drag boats to make exhibition runs. Actually 1 mile course benefits me, just not so much for the whole competive aspect of side by side racing.

It should be at least a 1 1/2 mile course.. I don't have enough time to change
out the flags with the short course... I am so stressed.

See you all at Mountain Home!!!!!!! Can't Wait.. Short course or Not so Short Course.

                              Well

This is only my opinion, but the a real plus for the NBRA is the competition. It is not cubic dollars who win. It is driving skills, and the competiion. Make much longer than 3/4 mile and it becomes boring to the spectator. And our sponosors count on the specators. This is why I so love racing with the NBRA. If it gets over a mile on the course I honestly don't watch the races myself.

My opinion is set a 3/4 and be done with it. Centralia seems longer than a Mile but its like .90 or slightly under I think. I could change it but its been the same for at least 5 years. It's set on my fishing boat GPS. Jack knows exactly what it is.
