    Physical address?

    Doc or Rick,
Is there a physical address or GPS coordinates for the park?

    Thanks,

Gardner, I went to Google Earth and put the cross hairs on the launch ramp and came up with 36:24 N 92:21W. It's up (North) on Highway 201 out of Mountain Home where it crosses a finger of Norfork Lake. Jack

If this is the same cove that was used for the APBA Mod nationals 4 years in
a row,, then this is VERY protected water.. As Doc Miller has posted,,
the pit area should be excellent.. Only a few miles drive north of the town,,
Mountain Home.. It is 201 to the Missouri
border going north,, then it becomes a lettered hi-way in Missouri,, "J".

Gardner, from looking at an earlier post on this thread, it looks a though the pits are going to be further East from the coordinates I gave you. Just continue East on the road(Old 23) that runs along the North side of the finger of the lake.Cross the first bridge over a little inlet and the race set up should be there. See the posting on page 2 of this thread. It shows the pits and a drawing of the course. Jack

              mountain home ar

We plan to run A runabout at Mountain Home. If you have a runabout that can be resistricted or you have a model 80 this is a great place to try the boat out. Layton Owen, Trent Baugh and Braxton Miller will be there with A runabouts. Maybe you will see "Jaws"? Do not let it get behind you, because it could bite....

We would once again like to welcome everyone to Mountain Home next weekend.

If you don't have a race to go to we would love to have you here!

                  The Best place to be!

Pigeon Creek is one of the best race courses. We will set up a course that will be just short of a mile. Jack will run his GPS to ck it. The Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce is our sponsor and they are excited to welcome the National Boat Racing association to Pigeon Creek. We have great equipment to run the race, including a new generator, new PA system, Digital clock, videoed starts and digital wt. system. The OBRA is the host club and they want to make this one of the best races for the 2013 season. We will have 1500$ in tow money. Bass Cat Boats will provide the pick up boats as well as Terry Long, comeing from Enid Oklahoma. He is simply the best, getting you back to your Pits. If you want to race, you just need to be there..

This is one beautiful lake, I have never raced there but have been on our annual fishing trips for the last 20 plus years straight and planning on this years trip in late October. Mountain Home has everything you would need and definitely want to hit Freds Fish House for some of the best fried catfish you will ever eat. Alan V-25

                      Room Booked

I booked a room on Jul 11, just in time for the racer discount ! Ramada Inn.

As mentioned, I have been there racing at least 3 or 4 times when the APBA Mod Nationals were held there. It is a great place to race. Even though the sponosorship money is not as much as other venues, it is a good first step to building up an awesome race site back up. Hopefully the Corp will work with the NBRA on fees for use moving forward. The town wants us.

                      See yall Friday !

                            step ups

at mountain home , if you step up there will not be a charge. We need all the boats on the water we can get. Our hope is to set a 500ft buoy. this will keep the course smooth. It is one of the smoothest water you will race on because of the two mountain on each side of the course.

The water is as deep as the hills are tall also.
