Some good comments and some not so good. Rescue boats are often secured to a floatie which is anchored. A quick disconnect allows for rapid response. That is what was meant by anchored. The course was quite narrow and it was good to keep the rescue boat in a well defined location. When a driver gives an OK signal and does not wave it off, the rescue folks respond in a deliberate way. Charging around for uninjured drivers causes more harm than the initial situation. Some who make comments about situations they know nothing about does nothing for the sport. Jack
