Might be a little easier to find a local company such as a barricade company or a construction company who can donate snow fence for some promotion .. We rent snow fence all the time its cheap.. I dont understand why people on this site enjoy making things harder than they need to be..

It's obvious you don't get it! I forgot snow fence is a National Security issue for which no joking is allowed!

For boat racers the fence is not a big deal..Anyone can find a way to skirt a fence.. The big deal is for the folks that put on the race..More work and cost like they need that.. And for what..You can put up a chain link fence with razor wire and they will still get over it or around it..

The worst part of this is most of these lawsuits are brought about by fellow racers, their family members and the support group volunteers..What is with that..I thought this was a sport they loved and supported and then they turn on you!!! Now they have caused the insurance to skyrocket...

We will be more diligent. Put up fencing where needed, police the waivers and
pay the extra. Why? Because APBA racing is worth it, that's why.

I just returned from Chicago and work for a barricade company. www.trafficade.com
I mentioned that having the new APBA logo printed on a barrier devise might be an option. I'll check into pricing and follow up with APBA's new Executive Director later next week. I'm hoping that some type of canvas barrier can be used to promote the new brand image, and keep stray 5 year olds from entering the restricted areas at our events. Something like the AMA uses around motocross tracks is my thinking. Hopefully something "cheap" can be found besides snow fencing.

Good idea on canvas banner / barriers with sponsor(s) names. The rest of the open space can use less expensive snow fence. Best way I know to justify sponsor money. Makes it look like a full blown racing venue.

Gary Miller - "Harry Brinkman Memorial Regatta" on the pit gate. We save and use every year. You in?
