Latest progress..Salami boat is getting close to deck complete..Rooty is next for the deck..The goal is to get all three done by at least the last week of March

Boat one the deck is completed and time for finish coats and seal the composite edge..Boat two now has the hardware installed and is getting the inside sealed

I am now starting month 3 on a three boat fleet and two boats got there coat of thinned down epoxy..So now we move on to boat three and get her ready for decking

Want to hold fastners???

These panels don't support fastners real well..I have some ideas but most of the time fastners are installed to support the glue up

Mike, Bud Gann here. I built the Aries Boats from Florida. I've been away from building for a while, teaching school, but am planning on returning to building. You have my e-mail address and I will share with you how to put in fastners that not only will not collapse the core, but you can actually brak the fastner without doing any damage to the core, not that you would want too. Let me hear from you.

Got the Lexan from McMaster Carr on line at $79.00 for a 4'x8' sheet..I ordered two sheets so shipping was $100.. Hope this helps and it is 1/16 thick

The root canal boat is just a couple hours away from completion..Would of been done today but the edge molding for the windshield will not be in until tomorrow morning.. Then it is time to prep for the deck install on boat 3.. After Mach 25th two jigs will be open so I will be able to start boat 4

As you notice the floor board is composite so if damage occurs to the composite then you can use it for a patch and make a wood floor

Rooty is now done.. Yesterday was so nice we uncovered the Motorhome since it was so nice and we started thinking BOAT RACING!!!

I am working hard on boat 3 today since I have to order material for 3 more boats for 2013 before shipping cost go out of site with fuel prices going up everyday!

With new boats on the way, might as well have some new WayneCo propellers! A baker's dozen + built this weekend with Jimi O in attendance - should keep us busy on the next test session.
