Sounds like a good time. I got the pics of the new 305 this morning (from the MRC Phantom Boatworks division?). oooooooohhhhhh and ahhhhhhhhhhhhh. We'll post some photo's once it gets turned over. Can't wait!

Busy times at Moby Grape Boatworks

The runabout is just about finished. Hoping to get the jigs set up for the new hydros next weekend, but with race directors meeting, commodores ball, super bowl...who knows.

Sean: I just put first coat of sealer on this afternoon..hopefully gonna transfer the thing over to boat cart Wed. afternoon....I will wheel my little ruby outside and take some pics. thanx for the help. 5 U.S.

New Tohatsu D boat

Sean...I will send you some more pics of new boat....just put first color coat on it this afternoon....will put other two colors on Thursday, as well as quite a few coats of clear. Boat looks ok....a few minor rough spots...one on right rear deck and the other where the cowl joins the deck. Ugh...but nothing all that bad. Motor is 90% back together, need to mount it onto belly pan and tower...found one of rewind bolts just spins in the hole, need to heli coil it I think. I think that is number 672 on my very long list of things to do to get ready for this year. Can't wait to get it in the water. Dave

your painting it before testing it????????? Courageous!!!!! In other news, I am somewhat done testing my new D...........so will probably paint it now..............maybe......

I am pretty confident boat will handle like wrecked boat...no reason for it not to. The only thing I am worried about is whether I put in a hair to much lift...if so I put hard points under the cowl for lead. Now I need to figure out how to get the thing weighed before first race. Hmmm....

haha...no...it is not pink. Yellow/orange, blue and bright red. The scale is in the club trailer. Maybe if enough of us are interested we could haul rigs to work party and weight them there. Just a thought.

Boat is all painted....just need to clear coat it...man...painting is a pain in the azz.
