Great idea.. I put a block on the boat end and now the piece I took off is now removable..Just two small anchor screws..So basically there is just a small seam that shows.. I am just going to say that is where my radar is.

Looks cool, needs shark teeth. Is this a kilo boat. What happens in a turn? How did you simulate air compression lift under the hull that is on a water boundry at the rear bottom?

Do you have any drag numbers vs velocity.

              Agreed!

              Nope!

              I turn left!

              Very carefully!

              Yep!

Seriously, though, I'm just experimenting with a model similar to the boat. Numbers are very broad and generalized - no specific numbers needed in my opinion, as racing conditions are random at best. Less drag = less lift needed = less resistance = assuming the world is flat. I'm capturing all the deck lift I need with the air-dams I put on, so I'm removing the bottom lift to compensate. Its the old story of putting your hand out of the window going down the freeway.

Jimi O says I need wings to compliment the rest of the boat - I think it is dare and might have to take him up on it.

I'm also experimenting with a negative-angled turn fin. I typically run my fins at 1-3 degrees in, but I have this boat setup at 3.5 degrees out - seems to be doing quite well at this point.

Now that ought to let the boat in front allow you to pass

I don't care how much faster that is.........it's ugly!

I am sure I will think it is prettier when it is passing me with 2MPH.

Can't wait to see you at the Nat's.

Reserve your pits and spread the word. We try and put the far travelers in the front row.

Almost forgot but need to finish hook up on water pressure gauge and numbers.. I guess I had better get to work

One week to get "r" done
