Do you have any drag numbers vs velocity."Keep Move'n" life is catching up!

Looks cool, needs shark teeth.
Agreed!
Is this a kilo boat.
Nope!
What happens in a turn?
I turn left!
How did you simulate air compression lift under the hull that is on a water boundary at the rear bottom?
Very carefully!
Do you have any drag numbers vs velocity.
Yep!
Seriously, though, I'm just experimenting with a model similar to the boat. Numbers are very broad and generalized - no specific numbers needed in my opinion, as racing conditions are random at best. Less drag = less lift needed = less resistance = assuming the world is flat. I'm capturing all the deck lift I need with the air-dams I put on, so I'm removing the bottom lift to compensate. Its the old story of putting your hand out of the window going down the freeway.
Jimi O says I need wings to compliment the rest of the boat - I think it is dare and might have to take him up on it.
I'm also experimenting with a negative-angled turn fin. I typically run my fins at 1-3 degrees in, but I have this boat setup at 3.5 degrees out - seems to be doing quite well at this point.

I dont care how much faster.....
I don't care how much faster that is.........it's ugly!
I am sure I will think it is prettier when it is passing me with 2MPH.
Can't wait to see you at the Nat's.
Reserve your pits and spread the word. We try and put the far travelers in the front row.

Few odds and ends to finish before NBRA Nationals like fuel tank, throttle, skid fin and a starting set up..I sure hope it fits in the trailer!! And Tom we did the couple changes to the bottom..
Almost forgot but need to finish hook up on water pressure gauge and numbers.. I guess I had better get to work
One week to get "r" doneMike - One of the Montana Boys
