To Much To Fast
Here is a tip, don't change to many things at once, you will never know what the real fix was, or what the real issue was. Small changes, test, record data. When I say record Data, you should have a notebook you keep under lock and key with you at all times when testing. Record everything. I made a testing data sheet with blank lines you record everything you need to know. Speed is only one of many many things I record. And no, I don't use any gadgets to record certain things. I did install a tach last season though. Good piece of equipment to have.
Other than that, you really, really need to tach your engine before you make the changes to the pipe. Do what Top Gun said. He knows what he is saying regarding this. It is true for most mod engines. If you don't have the data bank to pull from you need to build the data bank. Tach it and adjust your carbs at WOT with a GOOD test wheel.
P.S. - I believe Mike designed and welds the pipes Lee sells. (Pro350Hydro)
