I used West System epoxy and 406 filler. Put on lots about an hour ago so should be able to shape it all tomorrow. going to use my Dotco with sanding disc and dremel till I get it close and then the old hand sand.

You painted it silver. I thought red was your color??

And I NEVER said that! I just always figure what you are getting out of, out growing, or encouraging will be at my house next, no problem with that here! If you are going to do something you have to do it right!

We have bought the best of everything. Almost new motor, new pipe and water pick up, tower and a couple new props in works and 4 other used ones have arrived. Oh ya and two new boats.

Accordingly if a couple prior posts are correct 80 could be reached or high 70's. If so it would be fun to go past a couple DSH's

Isn't it fun to dream and talk smack. Really, if I were to see those numbers I would figure out a way to get to Sunny California

well, I call BS on the 80MPH speed! If you see anywhere near the mid 70's, you should be REALLY happy!

I would have to agree with Daren. My old 302 CMH ( Scott Clarks Motor ) I had it going mid 70's. Its was always in the top 3, well a ton of driving errors on my part helped it not always being in the top 2. If your in the mid 70's your in the hunt. I wish you luck, its a great class. More fun when you have a couple of Mercs out there ringing in your ear

Just going by what folks had posted earlier on this thread. Low to mid 70's sounds a lot more attainable. So this class fits in a little faster than CSH and a little slower than DSH?

Time to go back to shaping my lower unit and wet sanding the bottom of the new C Mod boat.

Do you think that a racer would fudge on his speed numbers? It will never happen.

I have heard that you have to run 82 to be the top dog. Yeah right. I have also heard you better run 74-76 to be the top CMR dog.

If that is the case, I have a really fast CSR because I have beat some CMR's with it or maybe I beat some really wrotten CMR's.

Maybe I could get a reading on GPS while driving down the freeway and then post a picture. Will that work. I guess the real proof that you are fast is if you are passing folks and going into first place.
