Ken Winters 14N Steve Stevens 6-N John Shidel 29-j Then 727 D Then 727 F. O'Dea Real early on was 85-J Then turn prof, needed even #'s 86- J. Hydro's needed three #'s he went yo 586-J. Don Pontius Started with 86-P & when father retired went to 32-P I think Ed Wolf started out with 123-N.

Another with the number 61-B was a friend of Racer Allen named Bob Appleton who raced "D" hydro and motorcycles and then flew jet fighters in the Navy.

Burner, I was throwing darts on Schedel & Winters. The O'Dea 586-J I only remember from pictures. I think I got Winters confused with Letwinski( 71-J?). You've got a pretty good memory for a guy your age!

That's Worm all the way on the inside in the first Racecraft "JU". Chip Fuller is about to get squeezed ( I had a reputation to build). By the way, that photo was taken in Newark NJ in June of '68. The next day we all went to Long Branch NJ to race at the LBIB&YC (Long Branch Ice Boat & Yacht Club)
