99-j
Did Joe and others have a race team called the nasty nine gang? I have a memory of some guys from New Jersey who all had 9's in their racing number. I remember thinking it was a great name for a racing team. Others that come to mind are Wild Ones (Brinkman), F Troop (Miller), Hustler and Hard Roller. (Don't remember who this team was), Team AARP (Marshall, Stotts, and Schmidt).

Willie, 5-J was Gary Hilsen, and my father his first year in J. After that dad was 65J for years but mostly ran 3-J on his boats because he didn't like his number. 50-J was Wormy's first number.Ryan Runne
