    Warren Hill

Jeff, That would be Warren Hill, from TN. He used to put on a lot of the APBA Nat's for MOD. He was also a school principal. Still is the last I heard from him. Last time I saw him he was in MI and stopped over to the house, talk about a shock to see Warren Hill knocking on your door ! That was a few years back. I believe he is still with Debbie. Great group of folks, and they were TN boat racing !

          Wow Kingston pics
          That brings back good memories

The Babcock family had a small caravan to that nationals. I got finishes in CMR, DMR and my altime favorite mod class- 2man mod runabout!!! We met a local couple whom brought us fresh drinking water everyday. Very nice people. I even rememer Ray Mason racing in Dmod, He was in his 70's then wasn't he Dave ??

            Yup

            Pete,

Ya, Grandpa won the DMH Nationals at age 70 and age 71.

Kingston is kind of historical for Mod racing ! That and Soddy Daisy, etc.

This is good to hear. I thought I only had a couple years left till 60 but 70 is much better. As they say "use it up and slide in sideways"

                Mike,

if you're cut from the same cloth as Ray Mason, well, you'll last a long time!!

He was something to watch in Dmod. And this was in a full bow hydro as I remember!!

It is Soggy Daisy. I went one year just to watch and what a wet mess.
