    • Wood grain

Eliminator boats used a 3oz cloth that was patterned with Mahogany wood grain in the late 70's. There are also many door manufacturers that make fiberglass entry doors using that same 3oz cloth Eliminator used...

Until you get right up over it, it is ver yhard to tell the glass form the real deal.

Why not faux wood paneling? You can recycle your old Beach Boy records, dye an Hawaiin print on your Kevlar & bolt a long board on top! Then you can call it "Woody!"

                        • Yellow Color Suggestion

Mike - a great color of yellow is GM '69 Corvette True Yellow (some folks call it canary yellow). I have a car painted that color. Your boat building skills are impressive; great work my friend.

Thanks Al, I have a 79 red Vette and never thought of looking at the Vette color chart.

What do you mean the real work begins ? All you have left is skinning it ! Easy as pie. The real important job is done, now you get to make it look niceer than it is. Since you are painting it, you don't have to worry as much about matching wood grains, joints, etc.

Seriously though, nice job. It looks good. You will be happy with the end results, I am sure. Makes me want to build a new boat now !

The part I don't like is coating everything with epoxy before the skin.
