Well the weekend was a hit. We started off Friday morning with 31 sleds at 10a.m. By the time we got back to our dinner reservation we had only lost 1. We had dangerous Dell Snider driving the F150 pick up going from town to town to pick up any sleds that broke. (thanks Dell your the best) The group did break up but all were accounted for by dinner time. We had 1 sigle sled crash that took out a rear tail light but all safe. 14 riders logged close to 200 miles friday. Saturday we picked up 6 more riders so the count went to 37. We decided that 3 groups would work better. All riders made it and again only 1 single crash. One of Fox's pit crew. He was great with the duct tape. The good news he had for the sled he borrowed from his future father in law was he had all the parts to fix it back up. All went well back at the cabin we partied out the pole barn till 2 or 3 in the morning everynight and all were packed and headed home Sunday. Can't wait till next year when we do it again. Thanks Mike
Mike- Thanks for the hospitality. I had a blast. Nothing like riding on those autobahns you guys call trails. I have to resize the pictures I have then I will get some up. And the local Sherrifs on sled, I mean chamber of commerce, who hid on the side of the dark trail, that added a "special" memory to the trip. Those light they had on their sleds, can we call them fireworks since they light the sky up so pretty. And the nightcap to the trip... The local bar owner running from the bar home at midnight completely hammered with his wife trying to get him into the truck...PRICELESS!!!!DAVEY 18w

C'mon guys .... I've been "lurking" here for awhile and just waiting for you guys to share some of those "memorable moments" from the ride ... and only a few short quips. So I finally decided to get registered so I could inquire about the fun. I KNOW you had tons of new snow, and I would assume some of the adventurers in the group did a little Boondockin' ...
C'mon' no good getting stuck stories ??
(I really wanna hear how good that F7 Flat turns, and WHY it should be allowed in BSR ..just kidding Dude, I mean 4. Yes I've been lurking for quite awhile)
Make me even more jealous that I didn't go. Pictures ??
Yippee, My 1st Post !

Ya, watch out is about it ! Car Driving just seemed kinda foreign after tree dodging for a few days. I'm not sure, but I "think" the carbides on the truck could use changing too ! Jake said "See ya Duder, and stay outta da pickers" AND THEN... If that snow wasn't piled high on the side of the road I woulda been "in the pickers, eh .. youbetcha"
It was like I forgot how to drive a car after riding everywhere we went. It was awesome and I love it ! Many, Many thanks to Davey, Spud, and the Berks !
I hope I can make it up with you guys next year, definitely sounds like the event of the winter.
Looking forward to visiting Wakefield again ... (and not in August )
