Thank you for pulling the chain for the rest of us...
    It is appreciated...

I'm sure you are very proud of him.

Guys like your Dad are risking their lives to save others who are risking their lives for all of us and our way of life....

They are the best of the breed....

      Thank the Captain for me.
Thanks for that. I certainly will. He's very proud to serve his country.

          Reap what you sow

So.... we finally "got" bin laden. It's about time! I was not for "killing" bin laden. I was for bringing him to justice. Of course, if he happened to stub his toe and end up dead in the process..... well, darn. I don't know just when 'killing people' became the 'American way'. But, that attitude concerns me. That the message we want to impart ot these kids? That the example we want to set as Americans? But, like I said.... if the target gets deaded in the process.... well shid happens. Just don't make a scapegoat out of one of these kids because he bumped the trigger on auto during a tense moment.

Good sense. Could'a been valuable to interrogate, after all Gitmo's still open despite Obama's 'word up'. Ironic how Obama, a Nobel recipient [for what?] enjoys high marks for simply ordering a hit. Like said, if some how he ended up gone afterwards & we never heard???

While in normal situations I would tend to agree with your statement that that's not who we are as a country, this certainly is not a normal situation. What Bin Laden did was so heinous that there really was no other option. If anything, he was lucky only to get shot compared to the fate of those who died on that dreadful day because of him.

Can't wait to get rid of the guy in charge when we got him, long for the days when the guy that let him go was in charge. All I can do is shake my head.

                            Please do!

An oppurtunity for Americans to come together, but many would rather look for any reason to drive another wedge in between us. Disgusting!

Too bad Wal-Mart didn't hire Dub and his sidekick 'shotgun Dick' as a 'greeters' 12 years sooner. Our covert ops folks were perfectly capable of extracting all the revenge we were entitled to plus some. Instead, we showed em how it's done.... 5000 of our troops put into coffins... thousands upon thousands maimed and injured for life while the coffers at Haliburton and others filled with cash. "Mission accomplished" alright!! ohh yeah.. and "GOOD JOB BROWNIE"...

You want to 'support our troops'? Now's the time folks. We darn sure better take care of our soldiers health needs for a long long time to come. You aint even got that bill yet!!
