In reading a few articles Obama is very quick to point out the operation was carried out by his order.... like he had anything to do with it except to authorize the mission.

All I can say is THANKY YOU to those who accomplished the goal. Now our brothers and sisters who perrished in the cowards attacks can know justice has been served. May they rest in peace now.

CNN claims the govt. has confirmed the DNA samples taken from the body prior to burial, are indeed those of UBL. It is also indicated there are photos of him laying dead in the house he was shot in. He was shot in the head. But they don't think these will be released to the public becasue some people might be offended seeing the bastards brains splattered.

Al Jazeera would show it. As someone on FB wrote "Good to know the last thing that went thru bin ladens mind was an American Bullet".

I want to put this into a more relative context for those that may take my opinion/use of quote the wrong way. This following example is entirely hypothetical and fictional and is the only way I could conceive to get my point across:

Lets say there was a racer, one that no one liked. He was faster than you in your class, never followed overlap rules, had a complete disregard for nailing the start (constantly jumping), intentionally "bumped" or "nudged" a little too hard, has caused damage to yours and others equipment on multiple occasions, never makes use of his driver's reps, isn't afraid to trash talk, and worst of all was responsible for taking the life of another racer at one point. But one day, someone got the run on him, took his lane away, dumps, and is killed by an oncoming boat. Would there still be a celebration among us as there is for Bin Laden? And why not? Wasn't he the enemy or the "bad guy" with bad intentions?

Think about that analogy and then take into consideration the death of Bin Laden. Is a cultural celebration really gonna help solve the world's problems? Or are tensions between Arab/Middle Eastern people and whites going even further in the wrong direction? And most importantly, are we done over there in the name of "democracy?"

He did these things...Again and again, anywhere boat racers might be, and he convinced hundreds of others like him to spread out across the country after he had taught them how to kill boat racers.

In fact on several occasions, he and his group, would catch a boat racer on the way to a race, and then he would have his followers video him (with a bag over his head) take a big knife and while holding on to the hair of the evil boat racer, cut his head off at the neck...slice it, and saw through the muscle and bone, and sinew... it always took a while for the boat racer to die, and on the videos, you could hear the boat racer screaming through the gurgle of his own blood, while he kept slicing, untill he could hold the severed head up in the air, and then he would praise his God....

Imagine that boat racers thoughts, as he knelt there knowing that he was having his head cut off.... And all he wanted to do was race his boat.

Understanding both sides of this discussion. Many dont realize, believe or want to face the stark reality of the depth of this evil bin laden was the figure-head of. US & allied soldgiers know all too well that being captured & sent to a prison camp to wait out the war is not an option. Im not calling it party time but am glad its said to be done.

Happy the the rat is dead, would have rather seen him captured. Ideally see him captured when W was running the place so he could be waterboarded for all he knew.

A feel good moment to be sure, the real importance is in the hard drives and intelligence that was captured. Won't be long before we find out the Pakistani's have been taking our money with one hand and shielding Bin Laden from us with the other hand. Will also find out that the Saudis are even worse than we already know them to be.

Way to be Kyle. The hardest part is keeping that way of thinking as you grow older.

The area I am from and some people close to me lost family members that day and the years after. I am proud of the actions that the Navy Seals, CIA, and yes, MI6 did in Abbotabad and am hopeful that this may bring some type of comfort to those who lost because of 9/11. However, SO many were lost because of SO many other people too. When do we stop, now? Just because we caught this a-hole! We have to stop because we know that people out there are always going to hate us. To ne the War on Terror is like the War on Drugs, a cyclical self fed waste of time! Bring them home to protect and HELP us here. We deployed an entire army over ONE guy, thats what the world thinks now.
